One Tree Hill gave me Brooke Davis, (Sophia Bush) a role model to look up to when I was growing up. One Tree Hill aired the year I began my Freshman year of high school. Brooke Davis was the character all girls could relate to. She was someone who wasn’t perfect. One who made several mistakes. Someone who had her heart broken several times. Someone who was just as insecure as any teen who was watching the show while it aired. Despite it all, she rose above it all.
I will always love One Tree Hill. For the very reason that it grew through the stages of life with me.
